Silent Cradle:
Infant & Pregnancy Loss Certification

At Emberline, we believe the quiet heartbreak of pregnancy and infant loss should never be carried alone. Our Silent Cradle program is a gentle path for those called to be a steady light for families when their journey takes an unexpected and difficult turn. This training provides the heart-centered expertise needed to walk softly beside others, offering dignity and a sanctuary of support.

Choosing Your Path to Certification

I will be right there with you to offer guidance throughout your entire journey—from your first lesson through to the completion of your field work. We offer two ways to begin:

A Self-Paced Online Journey: A thoughtful 70-hour course that allows you to move through the heart of the material at your own speed, followed by your field work.

A Collaborative In-House Weekend: A focused 2-day intensive held in a warm, shared environment, followed by your field work.

Inside the Modules: Learning to Hold Space

Our modules are designed to help you bridge the gap between clinical understanding and human connection, focusing on the quiet care required in the "Silent Cradle."

Understanding the Physical Journey: Gaining a gentle but clear understanding of the medical realities of pregnancy and infant loss.

The Language of the Heart: Learning how to speak to grieving families with words that offer a soft place to land.

The Gift of Presence: Discovering how to simply "be" with a family, providing a calm and non-judgmental space for their grief.

Honoring the Aftercare: Supporting families through the tender days following a loss, including ways to memorialize and find early comfort.

Becoming a Certified Doula

Once you have completed your modules and shared your field work with me for evaluation, you will be a Certified Infant and Pregnancy Loss Doula. You will walk away with the certifiable skills and the recognized heart to serve your community, knowing you have the foundation to ensure that even in the quietest losses, no one has to walk the path alone.
